My love of words extends to the shape of the letters, and I do have my favorite typefaces. Unapologetically, Hobo is one of my all-time faves. Way back in the Nineteen Seventies, my granddad quit smoking cigarettes. He said doctors had sufficiently proven to him that cigarettes caused cancer, and he said that anyone who still smoked the things was a fool. He explained that quitting wasn't hard. I've been slacking on my weekly blog, so for the New Year, I'm putting the hammer down. I'm doing daily haiku. Nothing too fancy, just a 5-7-5 rhythm. It'll be good semantics practice.
